It often seems like parts of society seem to be misunderstanding the basic aspect of the emotion “love”. We often struggle to define the word as a whole. What it is capable of. Who is limited to having it. What it means between two people. Whether it is strong enough, fleeting or forgiving. It’s a word with more depth than people seem to understand.
It’s difficult for anyone to begin to define “love” between two people. What may make a couple “in love” or have endless love for each other may not compare in our own eyes. We can’t understand someone else’s love from an Instagram photo, the way that they look, or a story that we hear.
I believe that great love can outshine negativity and challenges. And, when I refer to “love,” I’m not just referring to you and your significant other. The love I am referencing is the love that is also between you and your sister, your brother, your mom, dad, best friend, and so on.
Love is an emotion that has the capability to empower others. To enclose them into a hug of trust, support, and positive energy that can reward and satisfy any relationship. Always remember that today, Valentine’s Day, and every day to not only show the love you have for your loved ones, but to remember how loved you are by them. It’s the best gift you can give.

“…is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. it is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.” – Ann Landers
“…is life. And if you miss love, you miss life.” – Leo Buscaglia
“…is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.” – Aristotle
“…doesn’t make the world go ’round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.” – Franklin P. Jones
